Mac 2017 Models Compatibility with EIZO Monitors
1. Outline
We have tested the display compatibility between MacBook (USB Type-C port) / MacBook Pro, iMac (Thunderbolt 3 port) models and EIZO monitors.
Note: This information is provided based on our in-house testing and we do not guarantee the compatibility in respective user environments.

- Displays BIOS image correctly
- Displays the image correctly with the recommended resolution and refresh rate.
- Plug & Play works correctly
- Colors of the image are correct
- Noise and blinking do not occur
- "Power save", "Sleep" and "Shut down" functions work correctly

Notes:
- Displaying image is not available with Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) - Thunderbolt 2 conversion adapter + DisplayPort cable (EIZO PM200) .
- Additional USB Type-C - USB conversion adapter is required when using ColorNavigator 6.

*2 The monitor wakes up from power-save. However, before the monitor enters power save mode in the energy savings setting, the iMac screen’s brightness decreases, but if you turn off the connected monitor’s power, then the iMac’s screen brightness will not return to normal even if you operate the mouse or keyboard.
*3 It might be displayed outside specification of Apple-made USB-C Digital AV Multiport adapter.
*4 It takes a few minutes to display after the monitor goes from off to on.
